Furnace Service Contract

-15 outside - very cold! We called with a complaint that furnace was not working. We were told that the part was not available (Spectrum Energy in Oakville were subcontracted to make the service call) We were told the part would still be ordered right away and that it was coming from Ottawa and would come overnight. So Monday all day - no part. When we called we were told it was on its way - that there was a delay coz didnt ship out on Sunday would have to be Monday. Bear in mind I can drive to Ottawa and back in 10 hours but they couldnt get the part in 24 hours. Okay so now Tuesday - no call by noon - when we call we are told part is on its way - hmmm that is what we were told the day before. Now we are told part is in Barrie - not Ottawa - which is it? They dont know where part is but it is coming today. Right - dont believe them. Meanwhile I have my oven on 24 hours a day with door open to let heat out into room (dangerous situation) and gas fireplace running 24 hours a day too - if we leave the house due to safety have to turn it all off and then return to freezing home. Purchased 3 more space heaters - cant leave them running all day either due to safety issues. Try to explain to Spectrum Energy that I will literally drive to the parts depot to get the part myself coz he tells me "he's not going to drive there" and he says I am not permitted to do that. What the hell? I am willing to go get it seeing as they cant seem to manage it and I'm not permitted to pick it up? I am ready to move my family into a hotel where they can stay warm and I dont have to worry about the safety in my home. Will never recommend this company neither Reliance nor Spectrum Energy. Reliance is not reliable and Spectrum is not willing to go the distance (literally) nor are they willing to work with the customer and rather than offer any kind of empathy they are yelling at me on the phone that there is nothing they can do if part is not there (yeah they could go and get it) and BTW - "you're not the only one without heat"...okay that's comforting - idiot!
